Purpose

Support gives you a central place to see and respond to support tickets raised by anyone using Larnup at your school โ€” teachers, parents, or drivers. When someone runs into an issue or has a question they can't resolve themselves, they raise a ticket, and it lands here for the admin (or whoever handles support at your school) to reply to and track through to resolution.

When to Use

  • When a new support ticket comes in and needs a response.
  • When following up on a ticket that's been open for a while without resolution.
  • When checking how many tickets are open, in progress, or resolved across the school.
  • When a parent or teacher asks about the status of an issue they already reported.

How to Use

  1. Open Support from the Admin dashboard to see the list of tickets, sorted by status โ€” Open, In Progress, or Resolved.

  2. Tap a ticket to see the full conversation and any details the requester provided.

  3. Reply directly from the ticket โ€” your response goes back to the requester in their own app.

  4. Update the ticket's status as you work on it, so it's clear at a glance whether it's still being handled or resolved.

  5. Use filters to check tickets by requester type (teacher, parent, driver) if you need to focus on a specific group.

TipUpdate ticket status as you go, not just at the end โ€” an accurate "In Progress" status reassures the requester their issue hasn't been forgotten.
Common MistakeDon't mark a ticket as Resolved until you've confirmed the requester's issue is actually fixed โ€” closing it prematurely usually means they just reopen it or raise a new one.
