Purpose

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open Larnup as a School Admin. It gives you a quick, at-a-glance summary of your school — how many students and teachers are enrolled, how attendance is looking today, and anything that's waiting on you, like pending approvals. It's meant for orientation, not deep work — from here you jump into the specific module you need.

When to Use

  • Every time you log in, to get a quick read on how the school day is going.
  • When you want a fast headcount of students, teachers, or staff without opening a separate module.
  • To spot pending approvals (leave requests, registrations) that need your attention.
  • Before a meeting, to quickly confirm today's attendance numbers.

How to Use

  1. Open Larnup and log in as School Admin — the Dashboard loads automatically as your home screen.

  2. Review the summary cards at the top: total students, total teachers, and today's attendance snapshot.

  3. Check the pending approvals section for anything that needs action, such as leave requests or new registrations.

  4. Use the quick links to jump straight into a module — Attendance, Fee Collection, Notices, and similar shortcuts are usually available here.

  5. Return to the Dashboard any time using the Home tab to get back to this overview.

TipThe Dashboard numbers update through the day as teachers mark attendance and other activity happens — if a count looks off, refresh rather than assuming it's wrong.
Common MistakeThe Dashboard is a summary view, not the system of record — always confirm details (like a specific student's attendance or fee status) in the relevant module before acting on them.
