Purpose

Reminders is a simple inbox of the alerts the school has sent your way — a fee installment coming due, homework that hasn't been marked complete, an upcoming exam, or an attendance concern. You don't create reminders yourself as a parent; the school sets these up, and this screen is where you see and keep track of them.

When to Use

  • To catch up on anything you might have missed from push notifications.
  • Before a fee due date, to double-check you haven't overlooked it.
  • When you want a single list of everything currently flagged for your attention, rather than checking each section separately.
  • If your child mentions an exam or assignment and you want to confirm the reminder details.

How to Use

  1. Open Reminders from the More menu.

  2. Browse the list, usually shown with the most recent or most urgent reminder at the top.

  3. Each reminder is typically labeled by type — Fee, Homework, Exam, or Attendance — so you can scan quickly for what matters most right now.

  4. Tap a reminder to jump to the relevant section of the app for full detail — for example, a fee reminder takes you to the Fee Portal.

  5. Once you've acted on a reminder or it's no longer relevant, it typically clears itself automatically rather than needing to be dismissed manually.

TipTreat Reminders as a backup, not your primary source — it's useful for catching anything you missed, but checking Fees, Homework, and Attendance directly still gives you the fullest picture.
Common MistakeReminders are set up by the school, not by you — if you're expecting a reminder for something specific and it isn't showing up, it likely means the school hasn't configured one for that case, rather than the app failing to notify you.
