Purpose

The Homework screen shows every assignment your child's teachers have posted — what subject it's for, what's expected, and when it's due. It's a view-only screen: teachers create and manage homework from their side, and your job here is simply to stay informed so you can help your child plan their evening or weekend.

When to Use

  • Each evening, to check what homework your child has for the next day.
  • Before the weekend, to see if any longer-term assignments are due the following week.
  • When your child says they "don't have any homework" and you want to confirm that yourself.
  • To check the exact instructions or download an attached worksheet a teacher has posted.

How to Use

  1. From More (or directly from the Diary tab, depending on where it's surfaced for your school), open Homework.

  2. Make sure the correct child is selected if you have more than one — homework is specific to each child's class and subjects.

  3. Browse the list, usually sorted by due date, with the subject and teacher shown for each entry.

  4. Tap an assignment to see full instructions and any attached file, image, or worksheet the teacher included.

  5. If a due date has already passed, that assignment typically stays visible but is marked as overdue rather than disappearing, so you can still catch up on anything missed.

  6. Use the date or subject filter, if available, to narrow the list down when your child has several subjects' worth of homework at once.

TipCheck Homework the night before rather than the same morning — attachments like worksheets sometimes take a moment to download, and it's easier to sort out any confusion the evening before.
Common MistakeHomework here is only what the school has posted digitally — some teachers may still give quick verbal instructions in class that never make it into the app. If something your child mentions doesn't show up here, it's worth a quick check with the teacher rather than assuming the app is missing it.
