Purpose

Language Settings lets you choose the language you see and receive notifications in, so the app fits how you and your family communicate best.

When to Use

  • When setting up your account for the first time.
  • If someone else in the family uses the app and prefers a different language.
  • When notification text is coming through in a language you'd rather not use.

How to Use

  1. Go to More → Language Settings (this may also appear alongside Notification Preferences).

  2. Choose your preferred language from the available options.

  3. Confirm your selection — the app interface and future notifications update to match.

TipIf you want notifications in both languages rather than choosing just one, check whether a "Both" option is available under Notification Preferences rather than only in Language Settings.
Common MistakeChanging your language here affects your own account only — it doesn't change the language for other parents or for the school's own admin and teacher views.
