Purpose

The Attendance screen shows how regularly your child has been at school โ€” a day-by-day record built from what their teacher marks each morning, rolled up into a monthly summary. It's view-only for parents: teachers mark attendance, and this screen simply keeps you informed of the result.

When to Use

  • To check whether your child was marked present today, especially if there was any confusion around drop-off.
  • At the end of the month, to see the overall attendance percentage.
  • If a school notice mentions minimum attendance requirements and you want to check where your child stands.
  • When your child's approved leave should be reflected and you want to confirm it shows correctly.

How to Use

  1. Open Attendance from the More menu (or wherever it's linked for your school's app layout).

  2. Confirm the correct child is selected at the top of the screen if you have more than one linked to your account.

  3. View the monthly summary โ€” a percentage of days present, along with counts of absent and late days.

  4. Switch months using the arrows or month selector to look back at previous records.

  5. Tap a specific day for more detail, such as whether an absence was linked to an approved leave request.

TipIf your child had an approved leave through the Leave section, it should already show correctly in the attendance record โ€” you shouldn't need to do anything extra for it to be reflected.
Common MistakeAttendance here reflects what the teacher has marked as of your last refresh โ€” if today's attendance hasn't been marked yet by the school, it may show as blank or pending rather than present or absent. Give it time before assuming there's an error.
