Purpose
The Home tab is the first thing you see when you open the Larnup app. It pulls together the most useful information about your child into one screen — today's attendance, any pending fees, recent notices from the school, and quick links to the things you check most often, like the bus location or your child's homework. If you have more than one child at the school, Home shows information for whichever child is currently selected.
When to Use
- Every time you open the app, to get a quick sense of what's happening today.
- When you want a fast summary before diving into a specific section like Fees or Attendance.
- To catch a new notice or announcement from the school without searching for it.
- Right before school starts, to check the bus is on schedule or confirm there's no last-minute leave request pending.
How to Use
-
Open the Larnup app — Home is the default tab, marked with a house icon at the bottom of the screen.
-
If you have more than one child linked to your account, check the name shown at the top of the screen. Tap it to switch between children; everything on Home updates to match the child you select.

The parent Home tab, showing the selected child's name at the top, an attendance summary card, a fees due card, and a scrollable list of recent notices.
-
Scroll through the summary cards — attendance status for today, any fee installment that's due soon, and upcoming events from the school calendar.
-
Tap any card to jump straight to that section for more detail — for example, tapping the fees card takes you to the Fee Portal.
-
Check the notices feed lower on the screen for recent messages from the school or your child's class teacher.
-
Use the bottom navigation bar (Home, Transport, Notices, Diary, More) to reach everything else the app offers — Home is meant as a launchpad, not the only place you'll spend time.
