Purpose
Notification Preferences lets you decide what the app alerts you about and how โ from bus proximity alerts to fee reminders to new notices โ so you're not overwhelmed by pings you don't care about, or worse, missing ones you do. It also covers the language notifications arrive in and the sound used for alerts.
When to Use
- Right after setting up your account, to make sure important alerts (like fee due dates or bus alerts) are turned on.
- If you're getting notified about things you don't need to track closely.
- When you want notifications in Hindi, English, or both, rather than whatever the default is.
- If notification sounds are too loud, too quiet, or you'd prefer a different one.
How to Use
-
Go to More โ Notification Preferences (sometimes reached via My Account).
-
Review the list of notification categories โ typically things like attendance, homework, fees, exams, notices, and bus/transport alerts.

-
Toggle each category on or off based on what you want to be alerted about โ turning one off stops push notifications for that category without hiding the information itself from the relevant screen.
-
Open the language setting and choose English, Hindi, or Both, depending on how you'd like notification text to appear.
-
Tap Notification Sound to preview and choose from the available alert sounds, or set notifications to silent if you prefer to check the app manually.
-
Changes typically apply immediately โ no separate save step should be needed.
