Purpose

The Reminder screen shows you reminders sent by your school admin โ€” things like "submit marks by Friday" or "upload your updated ID proof" โ€” so deadlines don't get lost in the shuffle. You can also set your own personal reminders for things only you need to track. Reminders are part of the same Reminder & Follow-up system used across roles at your school, so a parent or admin might also be using reminders for their own purposes elsewhere in Larnup.

When to Use

  • To check what deadlines or follow-ups your school admin has flagged for you.
  • To set a personal reminder for something you don't want to forget, like a parent call-back or a form to submit.
  • Before a known deadline, to double-check you haven't missed anything.

How to Use

  1. Open the Reminders screen, usually reached from your Profile.

  2. Review the list of reminders sent to you, each showing a title, due date, and who sent it.

  3. Tap a reminder to see full details, and mark it done once you've completed it.

  4. To add your own, tap New Reminder, enter a title, note, and due date, then save.

  5. Personal reminders appear alongside the ones sent by your school, but only you can see them.

TipReminders tied to deadlines like marks entry or document submission are worth checking regularly rather than waiting for a notification โ€” a quick glance saves a last-minute scramble.
Common MistakePersonal reminders are private to you โ€” they aren't a way to notify your admin or school of anything. Use Support or direct communication if you need someone else to know about something.
