Purpose

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open the Larnup app as a teacher. It gives you a snapshot of your day — which classes you're teaching, what still needs your attention, and any notices from the school — so you don't have to dig through each tab separately to know what's next.

Think of it as a starting point, not a destination: from here you'll usually tap through to Attendance, Homework, or another tab to actually do the work.

When to Use

  • First thing in the morning, to see your class schedule for the day.
  • Any time you want a quick check on pending tasks — classes with attendance not yet marked, homework not yet posted.
  • When you want a fast way to jump into your next class without navigating through multiple tabs.
  • To catch new notices or reminders from the school admin.

How to Use

  1. Open the Larnup app — the Dashboard loads automatically as your home tab.

  2. Review Today's Classes, which lists the periods you're scheduled to teach, in order, with the class and subject for each.

  3. Check the Pending Tasks section for anything that still needs action, such as a class with attendance not yet marked or homework not yet posted for the day.

  4. Tap any class or task card to jump straight into the relevant screen — Attendance, Homework, or Marks Entry.

  5. Scroll down for recent notices or announcements posted by your school admin.

TipClearing everything in Pending Tasks before you leave for the day makes tomorrow's dashboard much easier to scan.
Common MistakeThe Dashboard reflects your assigned classes for the day — if a class you expect to teach isn't listed, check with your school admin, since timetable and class assignments are managed on their end, not from your app.
