Purpose

The Notifications screen controls what alerts you get from Larnup — reminders, notices from your school, and updates on things like leave approval — and lets you review notifications you've already received. You can also choose whether notification text appears in English or Hindi, whichever is easier for you to read at a glance.

When to Use

  • To review a notification you noticed but didn't have time to act on.
  • To turn off notification categories you don't find useful.
  • To switch your notification language between English and Hindi.

How to Use

  1. Open Notifications, usually reached from your Profile.

  2. Scroll through your notification history to see recent alerts, newest first.

  3. Tap the settings icon to adjust preferences.

  4. Choose your preferred language for notification text — English or Hindi.

  5. Toggle individual notification categories on or off, depending on what you want to be alerted about.

  6. Save your changes. They apply to notifications going forward.

TipIf you're more comfortable reading Hindi, switching your notification language can make it much easier to catch important alerts at a glance rather than reading closely every time.
Common MistakeTurning off a notification category doesn't mean the underlying task goes away — if you mute marks entry or leave-status alerts, for example, you'll need to check those screens directly so you don't miss a deadline.
