Purpose

Reminders are short, time-sensitive nudges the school sends you — things like an upcoming route change, a vehicle maintenance date coming due, or a document that's about to expire. They're separate from general Notices in that they're usually tied to a specific date or action the school wants to make sure you don't miss.

When to Use

  • To check if you have any pending reminders before starting your day.
  • When you get an alert and want to see the full detail behind it.
  • To confirm you've actioned something a reminder pointed you to, like a document renewal.

How to Use

  1. Reminders show up as alerts in the app and are also listed together in one place, usually reachable from the Home tab or Profile.

  2. Open the reminder to see the full detail — what it's about and any date attached to it.

  3. If the reminder points you to another part of the app — for example a document renewal — go complete that action there.

  4. Once handled, the reminder is marked done and drops off your active list.

TipDon't dismiss a reminder just to clear it from view. If it's genuinely handled, complete the underlying action first (upload the document, acknowledge the route change) so the school's record matches yours.
Common MistakeA maintenance-due reminder about the vehicle should be treated seriously — don't postpone it because the bus still seems to be running fine. Follow your school's process for reporting it, on top of just noting the reminder in the app.
