Incident Report
On this page
Purpose
Incident Report is how you tell the school about anything that goes wrong during a trip โ a mechanical breakdown, an accident, or a problem with a student on board. Filing it promptly means the school (and where relevant, parents) can respond quickly, and there's a clear record of what happened and when.
When to Use
- A mechanical problem or breakdown that affects the trip.
- A traffic accident or collision, however minor.
- A safety concern involving a student โ an injury, a behavioral incident, or anything else you need the school to know about.
- Any other situation during a trip that isn't normal and needs to be on record.
How to Use
-
During an active trip, find Incident Report from the trip banner or the Route screen.
-
Choose the type of incident that best matches what happened โ mechanical, accident, student-related, or other.
-
Enter a short, clear description of what happened, including where and roughly when.

-
Submit the report. It's sent to the school immediately โ you don't need to also call in unless it's an emergency requiring immediate action.
-
Keep driving safely and follow your school's standard safety procedure for the type of incident (pulling over, contacting emergency services, etc.) โ filing the report doesn't replace those steps, it documents them.
