Purpose

Lead Management is where you track every prospective school you're working, from the first conversation through to them signing up with Larnup. Each lead moves through a pipeline stage as you make progress, so both you and your manager can see where every prospect stands.

When to Use

  • After a first conversation with a prospective school, to get them into the pipeline.
  • To update a lead's stage after a call, demo, or follow-up.
  • When planning your day and deciding which leads need attention next.
  • When a lead is won and ready to move into onboarding under Schools.

How to Use

  1. Go to the Leads tab.

  2. Tap Add Lead and enter the school's basic details โ€” name, contact person, location, and how the lead came in.

  3. Set the lead's current pipeline stage (for example, contacted, demo scheduled, negotiating).

  4. As you make progress, open the lead and update its stage to reflect where things actually stand.

  5. Log notes on each interaction directly on the lead so the history is there if you need to hand it off or look back later.

  6. Once a school agrees to sign up, mark the lead as won. It then moves into onboarding and appears under Schools.

TipUpdate a lead's stage right after each interaction, not at the end of the week. A pipeline that reflects reality is what makes your Dashboard numbers and manager check-ins useful.
Common MistakeDon't leave a lead sitting in an early stage after it's actually gone cold โ€” mark it lost with a reason instead. An inflated pipeline of stale leads makes it harder to see which prospects genuinely need follow-up.
