Refund Policy

Purpose

If you cancel a premium subscription or run into a billing issue, it helps to understand how refunds generally work before you reach out. This page explains the refund policy in plain terms โ€” for the exact terms that apply to your specific payment, always check your invoice or contact support, since specifics can depend on your payment method and plan.

When to Use

  • You're considering cancelling and want to understand the refund implications first.
  • You were charged unexpectedly and want to know your options.
  • You subscribed through Google Play and aren't sure whether Larnup's policy or Google's applies.
  • You're following up on a refund request that hasn't been resolved yet.

How It Works

  1. Refund eligibility depends on your specific plan and payment method. Rather than one universal rule, what you're entitled to can vary โ€” always check the details on your invoice, or ask support to confirm before assuming a particular outcome.

  2. Cancelling stops future charges, but doesn't automatically trigger a refund. In general, cancelling a subscription prevents it from renewing going forward โ€” whether the current period is refundable is a separate question, covered by the policy on your invoice.

  3. Payment method matters. If you paid through Razorpay, refund requests are handled through Larnup support. If you paid through Google Play, Google's own refund policy and process for in-app purchases may apply instead, since that payment relationship sits with Google.

  4. Requesting a refund starts with support. If you believe you're owed a refund โ€” a duplicate charge, a technical issue during checkout, or a cancellation made within an eligible window โ€” contact Larnup support with your payment details from Invoices & Payment History so it can be looked into.

  5. Refunds, when approved, are returned to the original payment method. Processing times can vary depending on your bank or payment provider once a refund is approved.

TipHave your invoice or payment reference ready before contacting support about a refund โ€” it speeds up how quickly your case can be looked into.
TipIf you're unsure whether a specific situation qualifies for a refund, ask support before cancelling โ€” it's easier to get a clear answer upfront than to sort it out after the fact.
Common MistakeDon't assume every cancellation comes with a refund for the current period โ€” this depends on the specific terms of your plan and payment method, so confirm rather than assume.
Common MistakeIf you subscribed through Google Play, refund requests routed only through Larnup support may not be able to resolve the payment side โ€” you may also need to go through Google Play's own refund process for that purchase.
