Purpose

Logging into Larnup works the same way across roles โ€” the app itself decides what you see afterward based on who you are. This page walks through the two ways to log in (OTP and password) and what to do if you've been told to use Larnup but don't yet have anything to log in with.

When to Use

  • It's your first time opening the Larnup app and you need to log in.
  • You've forgotten your password and want to log in with a one-time code instead.
  • You know your school uses Larnup, but nobody has given you an account yet.
  • You're troubleshooting a login issue for yourself or helping someone else through theirs.

How to Use

  1. Open the Larnup app and enter the mobile number or email associated with your account.

  2. Choose how you want to log in: with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone or email, or with your account password, if you've already set one.

  3. If you choose OTP, enter the code you receive within the time window shown โ€” request a new one if it expires.

  4. If you choose password, enter it as usual. You can switch to OTP login at any time if you've forgotten it.

  5. Once verified, the app takes you straight to your role's dashboard โ€” there's nothing else to select, since your account is already tied to a specific role (Admin, Teacher, Parent, Driver, or Sales Partner).

  6. If this is your very first login, you may be asked to confirm a few basic details or set a password for future logins.

TipDon't have an account yet? You don't sign yourself up as a Teacher, Parent, or Driver โ€” your School Admin invites you once the school is set up, and you'll receive an invite to complete your login. If you believe your school already uses Larnup but you haven't received one, ask your school office to send it.
TipOTP login is the fastest way back in if you've forgotten your password โ€” you don't need to reset anything, just request a fresh code.
Common MistakeEach Larnup account belongs to one role. If you expected to see an Admin dashboard but landed on a Parent view (or vice versa), you're likely logged into the wrong account or were invited with the wrong role โ€” contact your School Admin to check how your account was set up.
Common MistakeOTP codes expire after a short window and are single-use. If a code doesn't work, request a new one rather than retrying an old one repeatedly.
